ADVOCACY
Turning survivorship into service.
My advocacy began with a simple realization: surviving cancer wasn’t the end of my story—it was the beginning of a new purpose.
As a stage IV cervical cancer survivor, I’ve experienced firsthand the fear, uncertainty, and isolation that can accompany a diagnosis. Today, I use my voice to ensure that fewer people have to face those moments alone. Through education, storytelling, public speaking, and legislative advocacy, I work to increase awareness, improve access to care, reduce stigma, and empower patients to become advocates for themselves and others.
I believe every conversation matters. Every story shared has the potential to educate, inspire, and create lasting change.
Cervivor
As a trained advocate with Cervivor, I work alongside a global community of cervical cancer survivors, caregivers, and healthcare professionals dedicated to ending cervical cancer.
My work includes patient education, public speaking, storytelling, mentoring emerging advocates, participating in awareness campaigns, and representing the patient perspective at conferences and policy discussions. I am passionate about ensuring that every patient feels informed, empowered, and supported throughout their journey.
Teal Diva
As the Social Media Coordinator and Content Creator for Teal Diva, I help connect survivors of gynecologic cancers with education, encouragement, and community.
From creating educational campaigns and sharing survivor stories to helping facilitate retreats and support programs, my goal is to remind every survivor that they are more than a diagnosis. Healing extends beyond treatment, and no one should have to navigate survivorship alone.
Legislative Advocacy
Real change happens when patient voices are part of the conversation.
I advocate for policies that improve prevention, early detection, equitable access to care, and survivorship support. Whether submitting public comments, participating in advocacy days, meeting with lawmakers, or supporting awareness initiatives, I believe patients deserve a seat at every table where healthcare decisions are made.
Advocacy isn’t reserved for experts or elected officials—it belongs to every person willing to share their story.
HPV Awareness & Prevention
Nearly every case of cervical cancer is linked to persistent HPV infection, making education one of our most powerful tools.
I work to increase awareness about HPV vaccination, routine screening, and the latest cervical cancer screening guidelines while helping reduce the stigma that too often surrounds HPV-related cancers. My goal is to replace fear and misinformation with facts, compassion, and hope.
Cervical Cancer Education
Knowledge empowers patients.
I believe informed patients become confident advocates for their own care. Through presentations, articles, podcasts, webinars, and community outreach, I help translate complex medical information into practical, understandable resources that encourage people to ask questions, seek second opinions when appropriate, and make informed healthcare decisions.
Volunteer Opportunities
Advocacy doesn’t always begin with a microphone or a stage.
Sometimes it starts by cheering at a 5K, assembling care packages, mentoring a newly diagnosed patient, writing a letter to a legislator, or simply listening to someone’s story.
Whether you’re a survivor, caregiver, healthcare professional, or someone who simply wants to make a difference, there is a place for you.
Every act of kindness.
Every shared story.
Every conversation.
Together, they create change.
Let’s Create Change Together
If you’re interested in collaborating, booking a speaking engagement, partnering on an advocacy initiative, or learning how to get involved, I’d love to connect.
Because when we choose hope, share our stories, and lift one another up, we don’t just change individual lives—we change what’s possible for the future.
